Background On 31 March 2025 FIVS, an international federation representing the global wine sector, issued a press release urging governments to keep wine out of trade disputes

It is an advocacy group that works closely with U.S. trade organizations to improve legal language, industry practices, and standards that benefit the competitiveness of the U.S. winemaking industry.
